PlantX.net supports a custom reporting "engine" that uses spreadsheets as templates to describe the reports.
Each different type of report centers around a different type object, like a customer, order, supply, etc. Each of these objects, in turn, have fields that represent different properties or make further reference to related objects.
The fields are separated by a period "." and are always lowercase.
