From PlantX.net
All of the services provided by PlantX.net use a simple utility called ConneX to install and upgrade the required software.
To download the ConneX utility, follow the instructions below:
1. Click on this link connex.exe
- The “Opening Connex.exe” window opens.
2. Select the Save to Disk radio button, if not already selected.
3. Click the OK button.
- The Enter name of file to save to window appears.
4. Select your desktop as the location to save connex.exe.
5. Double-click the ConneX icon 
on your desktop to start ConneX.
- Note: if you do not have at least Java 1.6 installed, ConneX will launch your browser and prompt you to begin installation. Follow the instructions provided. Once the Java is installed, double-click the ConneX icon on your desktop to continue the installation.
6. Enter your name and password provided with your membership. If you want to run a trial membership, please call 888-575-2689 to request a name and password.
- If you are prompted, select the application you would like to run. (typically "Grower").
7. ConneX will proceed to download the required files to run PlantX.net. If this is the initial install, this can take nearly three minutes on a standard DSL connection.
- When ConneX completes the install/upgrade, PlantX.net is launched and ready for use.
