Create a catalog to organize the plants for sale. Match vendor catalogs with your catalog for faster data entry.
- Collaborate with vendors. If the vendor is a member of PlantX.net, you can send the order directly without any data entry on their part. If your vendor needs a particular format like CSV, XLS, or XML, C-Ware can assemble the appropriate digital format.
Barcode Tag Printing
It is all about tracking your vendor's plants throughout their stay. You need to track the plant from when the plant hits the yard to when it hits a shopping cart. PlantX.net generates a label with a unique barcode for every plant in the yard. This unique number is tied to the consignment order, your catalog and the vendor's account.
PlantX.net can also use RFID tags to track the plants since it already uses a unique numbering system. Most systems are only setup to handle the manufacturer and product code used by the UPC code system. RFID tags use a combination of values to create a unique identifier, just like the one used by PlantX.net Consignment Edition.
